Project Details
Is a proposal for a mixed use development project. The functions includes a six storied shopping mass with a curvilinear central open to sky pedestrian circulation spine starting from entry plaza towards shitolokkha river front. There are 3 Cineplex mass projected from the shopping mass. A water feature with bridge unites the entrance plaza & adjoining mosque with the shopping area at the same time separates them. Other functions are a 24 storied housing complex with separate entry, community spaces terrace garden, swimming pool, gym. children’s’ play area, school with play field, a 14 storied budget hotel and a 35 storied office tower with a sky restaurant and helipad, and multi level basement parking. The central 6 storied curvilinear form connects and integrates the other masses forming an integrated whole. The regular beam column structural system of the shopping mass with a additional louvered screen creates a shell like diaphragm that act as light and heat controller for naturally ventilated areas of the shopping.
